HEALTH AND SAFETY COMMITTEE ( HSC).

The Health and Safety Committee (HSC) is the joint and collegiate participatory body designed for regular and periodic consultation with employees regarding the University’s actions in the field of occupational risk prevention.

This committee was established on May 19, 1998, and its regulations were approved on July 7, 1998.

The Health and Safety Committee is composed of Prevention Delegates and an equal number of Representatives designated by the University.

Prevention Delegates shall be appointed by and from among the staff representatives, within the framework of the employee representation bodies provided for at the University, in accordance with the provisions of Chapter V of the “Ley de Prevención de Riesgos Laborales”.
